Author's Note:
'Tara's Adventures' (working title) is a work of fiction based on the
true life experiences of a beautiful, caring and sensual woman. The initial
storyline was related to me by this woman over a long weekend we spent together
at her family's cabin. We have been good friends for a number of years and she
was hoping, by confiding in me, to relieve the anxiety which she had been
feeling about a very disturbing time in her life. She has always thought of me
as an understanding ear that she could trust without having to deal with
prejudice and sexual tension. After hearing her tale I suggested that she might
want to try and put her story to paper. She didn't think that she would be
able, but would at least give it a try at my urging.
A few months had past without much contact with 'Tara' when I received
an invitation to join her back at the cabin. Once there, she showed me her
attempt to put her story down on paper. It was then that she pleaded for me to
do the writing for her. At first I wasn't very comfortable with writing her
story but she was very convincing. As a result 'Tara', my wife and me spent the
next three weekends up at her cabin creating the first draft of the 'Tara's
Adventures'. The first chapter of 'Tara's' story will, most likely, never see
the light of day as it describes how she suffered at the hands of an abusive,
controlling and very sickly deviant personality. As a result Chapter 1 of
'Tara's Adventures' begins her story after her initial introduction to the BDSM
world, as per her request. This initial experience with her demented monster
did, however, awaken certain sexual desires she had previously kept suppressed
and set the stage for her sexual life for many years to come. In collaborating
and ghostwriting this story, my wife and I have her to thank for awaking our own
personal desires/fantasies and helping us put the excitement back into our
lives.
'Tara's Adventures' currently has five chapters written or under
development. Each chapter is divided into individual stories that interconnect
with the entire work. After reading the very first part "Orientation", 'Tara'
happily and freely gave the authors permission to continue with the storyline
and build on it, as well as enthusiastically encouraging its publication. The
first chapter is based on the true life experiences of 'Tara' with a certain
amount of artist latitude given to the author. The ensuing chapters are the
fantasies of the author, wife/life partner and 'Tara' based on her real life
experiences. We have always shared the drafts with her as she is essential to
the development of the storylines and characters used in 'Tara's Adventures'.
Her only two requirements were that true identities not be revealed and that she
can review each chapter, so she might make changes, before it is released (she
has already exercised this provision twice). The author is open to all
