Add-up 'trodden path', 'no paragraphs' and 'rushed' and you'll get 'mediocre' as a result.
But there's a fourth factor in the equation. That factor is 'skill'. Which in Pricipalowner's case is enough to lift "Ready To Submit" out of that dreadfull mediocrity and into the light under which the big leaguers play.
Must agree with ej00635, as I too feel that PO could have made the story longer, hence the rushed feeling I had while reading.
Very nice introduction from a 'new' writer...
