The story, plot and premise all work well. You've created a fun fictonal world for your leading lady to enjoy and for your readers to enjoy even more. With an editing refresh, you can spice this up a bit more. If your vampire reads minds, then tell us so. What does he look like, smell like, or taste like? Let the reader experience what your leading lady is experiencing, otherwise it's a bit of placing hard dick a into wet slot b without the fun along the way.
If you decide to update this chapter, please let me know and I'll re-rate it.

This was great, but flowed strangely. My reccommendation would be to go through and fill out the details. Overall though, fantastic! (i love vamps!) (5/10)
