I liked the ruthless self-centered nature of the narrator in this piece, but felt nothing for Cuy. As a result, I couldn't get excited or care about her and the torture being inflicted on her. To be fair, I'm not turned on by scat or golden showers, but read this story based on another reader's review. (5/10)

Poor Cuy indeed. This is the essence of sadism and horribly believable. In spite of the unedited prose there is real vigour here. The narrator is a monster, brimming with violence, callous irony, and flashes of perverted tenderness. As a character he comes vividly alive. So too does heart-breaking little Cuy. There are plenty of two-dimensional characters being spanked, caned and raped around here. But erotica, like all fiction, needs real characters, and BDSM needs real flesh, and here are fine examples of both. The result is effective and disturbing. (10/10)

Spurtz has already indicated (by way of his reviews) that he knows nothing about erotic writing. Here he proves it. (3/10)

- I hope that your review is not in any way coupled to the fact that the author is also a rather critical reviewer.

- Mr Ludite, when you paraded your self-declared intellectual superiority under the name of Hyphen666 I don't recall your being so sensitive to authors' feelings. I was censured by the webmaster for calling you a jerk then, and for that reason only I will refrain from doing so again.
To answer your question, if my rating had been based on Mr Spurtz's recent flippant and banal reviews I would have awarded him a 1.

- Equalizer, I have about as much respect for your reviews as I do for your Bushie politics.
When are you going to write something (under a name where it can be accessed) for us lowly inferiors compared to your grand literary genius? I realized that I was doing a lot of judging of others' writings, and that wasn't entirely fair without myself putting some material online. What about you? Don't hold back, please. ...Wacky Spurz ------------------------------------- Equalizer's dime a dozen political opinion... <<Regardless of WMD and other UN resolutions, the real reason for the war is that Saddam and his family were evil bastards. Saddam is no more a muslim than Adolf Hitler was a Christian. This was a man who suppressed the religious freedoms of muslims. 24 million good muslim people are now better off, even though difficult days still lay ahead for them. The Americans, Brits and Australians have done the world's dirty work for them yet again.>>

- How sweet! Ludite/Hyphen has a friend. Their common bond - an inability to take what they dish out to others.
Spurtz even trawls the forum to find an old posting which is apparently supposed to incriminate me in some way. You guys are hilarious. Good day, gentlemen.

- Evidently I dished out a not so hot review of something Equalizer wrote under another name. Unlike him though, I will both write and review under the same name, not use one name to other people's stories, and another to write under.
My open invitation to Equalizer is to write any review of my stuff you want to, LittleGuy. I did't 'trawl' the forums to get dirt on you, but just to try to see who the bitter you might be?

- I wasn't intending to reply, but wanted to reassure you I'm not remotely offended by your petty insults, only amused. I've now said all I wish to say to you. Feel free to have the last word.

This one has its moments; the violence is implied, a nice break from the typical mindless application of force that usually occurs in stories of this type. The use of the victim's fear of closed-in areas is good, something a bit original for a change. On the other hand the editing and proofing leaves a great deal to be desired. The types of errors displayed here could have easily been corrected by a few readings of this very short work before submitting it for publication. Believe it or not these distractions really get in the way of one's enjoyment of what could have been an above average effort. (5/10)

- You are absolutely right, because my editting was terrible, most especially the spacing. What looked to me to be ok on notepad, spaced out rather badly when sent in. All due to my vice of overusing the spacebar between sentences when writing. This was my first matrerial sent in ,and I was really doing it more to be fair to others whose works I had previously gone on a binge of reading and critiquing. I'm glad that you did get some enjoyment out of my effort, though.
