Using third person, present tense was an interesting choice. It worked well in the beginning, when it felt like the narrator speaking to the reader. When the dialogue started it became a bit distracting, though not terribly so. You have some 'wrong word' misspellings — the type SpelChek won't catch — but grammar is good. A well-thought-out plot, and a beginning, middle and definite ending. And you stayed true to your story codes. This looks like the work of someone who's written before. (7/10)

- Thanks for your review, Curtis! This was my first story written in present tense- an experiment for me. :)

what a perfect way to treat a servent and to show the new girl what was to come, all servants should be slaves and treated like this. (9/10)

A bit let down by the action -or the lack of- but thats ays a lot about expectations versus intent. "Cleaning For Master Holden" is well written, from an author who shows promise. Only thing I would polish is the converstations and adding a bit more depth to descriptions of surroundings. JJ (7/10)
