Desriptions which are often painstakingly detailed -sometimes too much so, written down in nervewrecking staccato bursts of short sentences. The lack of punctuation marks in longer sentences. Those are two things which got on my nerves while reading "Stella". But the above were made good for by the wicked imagination of the author. And the descriptions might have often felt too detailed; it cannot be denied that it's exactly those descriptions which lift the story from mediocrity. JJ (8/10)
