“Roman Holiday” (also titled “A Connecticut Yankee in Caligula’s Court”) follows Diana, a college senior, who is mysteriously transported back in time to ancient Rome. She finds that all of the stories about the decadence and hedonism of the Roman Empire were true as she is whisked from one erotic adventure to another. |

Interesting story. Decent touch of historical knowledge although I think claiming to be a goddess could be pretty dangerous at that time. Likely to have her charged with herecy without a lot more evidence than she provided, which is likely to mean a very nasty fate for Diana. Not sure she would be that passive that early on, although the adaption later on is more likely. Having accepted what's happened to her and how helpless she is the role as sex slave and development of a strong sexual appitite is fairly likely. However think such a strong personality would be likely to put up more resistance to the initial captivity and rapes, albeit probably unsuccessfully. Steve (9/10)

At the end of Part Two Diana is attempting to assert some control over her situation. Good! And this story is better than lacrosse, though not as good as some of Captv8td's earlier efforts. Perhaps it's because I'm not feeling much engagement from the protagonist. I'm seeing catalogs of debaucheries, but it's all quite detached. EDIT: With Part Three it gets much better. Diana's plan is progressing, and I'm starting to see the emotion. It ends on a promising note. Rating revised upward. (9/10)

"Nulla potest mulier tantum se dicere amatam vere, quantum a me Lesbia amata mea est. (Catull) No woman could pride herself of such love truly, so much as my Lesbia is loved by me." No! You don't have to talk Latin fluently to understand this story of "my Lesbia" (but I was coerced to send her this message). Such a long time I thought Baseball to be the true religion of the Americas but now I know better ... it is Lacrosse. You can't ignore this beautiful story since it not only will pleasure you but teach you as well. (10/10)
