I was soooo hoping for a complete gang rape in the train but that would have been a bit silly, right? Extremely well written and the "interrupted flash-back" device was used very effectively. Thanks for posting it! (9/10)

One of Parker's best, which is tough to do. A consistently interesting writer, I put him in the same class as V.P. Vintner. Can't wait for his next one (10/10)

Very clever with this one-- the prose style at the beginning made it difficult to understand what was happening. It seems a little rushed, maybe, but that's off the cuff, and I'm a slow writer myself. I wanted to 'see' Darrell well enough to believe in what he was doing to Tina, and I think that if Tina's narration began with a better detail of her surroundings and the men, the story would be more believable. Maybe some more use of smell? Also, the bystanders on the train-- what kind of noises did they make? Were they talking or murmuing loudly enough to cover the physical sounds of a woman bucking and riding men on a train...? As usual, the twists and turns of the story are clever and fresh. Another quality story from the consistent Parker. (8/10)
