Glimpses, interludes almost, into a couple of hours of spare time of a man who's a bit of a lucky bastard. No real storyline, a plot which is on vacation and participants who are present in body only, but possessed with the Spirit of Saint Lewis. But hey, who needs plot and storyline (we do need bodies, spirited or not, preferably from Lewisiana) when the writing is good? "Mirror Image" once more shows that flashes of imagination can make great reads, even when purists will go apeshit over such seemingly pointless outbursts. Then again, that's probably the only thing purists will ever waddle through, and that's apeshit. Me, I prefer well written stories or vignettes or interludes or whatever you want to call it. "Mirror Image" is. Well written, I mean. JJ (9/10)
