If this is a first effort, it's not too bad. The grammar and writing are acceptable. The plot has been used by a couple of hundred previous authors, some better, most worse. The ending is not unexpected thanks to some brief character development that was initially done by the author. To sum it up, I would encourage the author to continue to ply his or her hobby based on this story. (6/10)
