First there were the emails, then there was the package left in the park where Jan Sherwood did her early morning exercises - the package with Jan's name on it, with the handcuffs inside. That was when Jan reached the certain conclusion that she was being watched. When it came, the abduction was brutal and clinical in its efficiency. But what was the most scary feature was the timing and the lengths Jan's captor had gone to account for her disappearance. Subjected to torture while kept bound in the man's basement, Jan gave in to his demands for access to bank accounts, and saw her entire life destroyed in front of her eyes. Only her desire for revenge kept her focussed as she slowly grew to realise what the man had in store for her for the rest of her life - or until he grew tired of her... |

I have to say this is the best story I have read on here so far. Very well thought out and believable. The sex or violence didn't overywhelm the storyline but inhanced it. Oh yeah I am always one for a good gottcha in the end. (10/10)

Outstanding and highly recommended. Vanishing Act is a plausible nc story. (Wishful thinking has its rightful place in the realm of sexual fantasies. That's why there are so many fanciful tales in the 'nonconsensual-with-inbuilt-denial' genre. With characters who get subjected to all sorts of activities against their will, and in retrospect declare themselves ever so happy about the entire nc proceedings, because after all they forced them to become the slaves they were meant to be, right?) In Vanishing Act, by contrast, there is wishful thinking, yes – but not in the plot. It's in the mind of a very special character. The narrator's point of view dissects those lies. The plot is suspenseful and the narrative flows well. (10/10)

My favorite of the author's works. Very well done in all the usual (plot, character, paragraph, sentence, ... ) categories. Thanks! (10/10)

Wow! The hero gets a bilateral orchidectomy. Good writing, but what's the point? I guess I'm of the school that thinks that porn should excite lust. Balls being cut off seems to stray pretty far from this, IMO. (6/10)

- In one sense, you are right. Porn usually does not involve this level of retribution. But good literature does. The result raises the story from porn to a tale of morality. The writing is excellent, and Mr. Alexander even knows how to spell and punctuate - two skills that most porn authors lack.

- Wow! Thanks for giving away the end with no spoiler alert! You know, some people read reviews before reading an entire story. How about a little discretion next time?

Great story, very well written. Only two snags, the passport aspect in Australia,a photo needs to be signed for by someone that knows the applicant and secondly the ease with which she was able to obtain identification and pass herself off as female still. Apart from those two technicalities..geez 10 out of 10. (10/10)

I really enjoyed this story. The quality of writing here is quite good. And the story drew me quickly in with interesting, erotic situations and realistic characters. I think that this story sets a high bar for others on this site--this is the level of writing we should all be trying to obtain. (10/10)
