A confirmed bachelor feels sorry for a neighbor womanwhen her abusive alcoholic father dies, leaving her almost penniless and homeless after living at home with him and caring for him in his declining years. The bachelor pays for the funeral and stone. He allows her to move in with him, first as his Maid/Housekeeper and finally falling in love with her and taking her as his submissive lover. |

A wonderful, lovely, romantic story. I like it very much. I look forward to part 2!
Will Rose' sister be punished adequately and will she finally learn to be an obedient woman? (8/10)

So far quite well done. Quite a bit better than most internet fiction. Though I'm curious if the bottom of the story is supposed to have so much whitespace. Would also love to know when you plan on updating. (8/10)

I am working part 2 to Painting The Roses Red, hence the white space.

I like the plot and the characters are worked out nicely. For me the dialogues were a bit short, they could be a little bit more elaborated on. But that's maybe just me. (7/10)
