Very good 'continuation' of Zebulon's "Wedding Night" (not the real thing, rather the story by Zeb's hand). I liked "Learning Through The Night" better, because of its more sinister, darker tone. In "Wedding Night" we're being confronted with a rather cheery fellow and a goil who has her designs focused on the guy. Okay, so the guy has a secret, who cares, he's cute, she's too, so off we go into the sunset. With SBBE, we're long past midnight and the cheery chap seems at first to have a connection with Vlad Tepes, with the mentioning of the bonding by blood and some such. I was even a tad disappointed when Misha was quite visible in the mirror. Our bubbly determined lass has turned into a somewhat willing victim, who still hasn't a clue about what is going on, let alone what's going to happen. But that some pretty strange stuff is gonna be involved is to be surmised by the reader, as Keane keeps insisting on Amy's obedience and wants her love for him confirmed; the latter more to manipulate Amy than to feed the reader. Bar a few neckbreakingly constructed sentences, "Learning Through The Night"--next to reminding me of Def Leppard's first album-- is a very nicely written short. As a sequel, it couldn't be farther away from its predecessor, both in mood as in backdrop. Nevertheless, SBBE managed to pull it off. Gonna play The Who's "Who's Next" album now. An urge I usually get after having read a Still Behind Blue Eyes story... JJ (9/10)

- Thank you frankee. I am so glad you liked it. I think Misha needs his own story here. Giggle. I'm not sure why either but he really made an impression on me too.
Please feel free to try another story. Giggle

Good job. Even though this was a bit tame for my taste as well, it was well told and it held my interest. (9/10)

This was a nice short tale for the romantic in us all. Much tamer than I generally read but still enjoyable. There were mistakes; mostly punctuation, but they were not distracting or harmful to the flow of the story. I admit that I would have liked to have this fleshed out a tad more. Perhaps future installments will provide for such wants, though it appears that this may stand on its own. If so, it will do so nicely. (8/10)

- Thank you very much kind sir. You are correct it will probably stand alone...but you never can tell when the muse will hit or where.
