Sexy! A healthy helping of "non-consent" hot, a compelling, funny narrative voice, and a touching exploration of evolving mutual devotion. (10/10)

I have read a number of stories on this site and this is by far the best. It took me three days to read it and I couldn't wait to get back to it everytime. The plot was very creative and I was hooked throughout. (10/10)

It is a very nice story: "omnia vincit amor". If the plot is set in future (sci-fi) it would be more rational. E.g.: Chris and Tim live in 2030 and Country of Chris is the slavery. A lot of much state has introduced the slavery than punishment yet etc… (10/10)

An interesting idea well written. Well worth a read. (8/10)

Dear Marshall Wade, this is an awesome story. Skål!
An emotional roller coaster of fear, resentment, hope, despair, submission, devotion, suffering and bliss. Told from the perspective of a protagonist blessed with self-awareness, intelligence and wit – and did I mention handsome and desirable? (Well... intelligence unless when it comes to certain laws in foreign countries.) Featuring a convincing dominant character: a woman who decides what happens, demands obedience, and does exactly what she likes. The power context between the main characters has been created with a wonderful no-nonsense approach: structural violence par excellence. In this particular context, the crop and the cane are not toys for hot arousing sadomasochism, they are tools for cold corporal punishment. As for the sex scenes: deliciously described and... very knowledgeable. :-)
.
Story elements I found to criticise:
It seems doubtful whether someone who has hitherto only undergone bondage at someone else’s hands would manage faultless active technique at the first go.
The letter is not really convincing as written by someone who grew up in a household with slaves. The assumption that slaves may deeply resent their exploitation is routine; it does not take emotional attachment to figure this out. And as the plot shows, in Christine’s case it certainly does not keep her from doing with her slave what she wants while she has him.
The ambassador is not even sketched as a character. The reasons for his actions remain untold. He is but a plot device, Pandarus ex machina.
The overall storyline is a bit too predictable. The main plot could have profited from another twist or surprise or two.
None of these points distract from the deep enjoyment this tale offers.
.
Moving along with the protagonist, readers are confronted with one of the most intriguing themes of a nonconsensual slavery story: Who can know what a slave thinks? (10/10)

Excellent, Great story development, well written, even passed through a spell checker - something I wish your would-be peers could do. Not many 9's or 10's in my reviews, you deserve this one. (10/10)
