For Susan, a night out, away from her husband and kids goes from a drunken gossip session, through erotic flirtation to full-on rape. Nasty. |

Stoy is more than okay, well written too, but what was too distracting to yours truly, was the withdrawl once in a while, to start a rather emotionless narration. It's nice to see some background information, even emotional info, but to be confronted in the thick of every action with a background voice, giving dry, documentary style insights about the state of mind and at the same time sounding philosophical about life in general, was a tad too much to my liking. Every time I was getting into the story, there was that stupid announcer talking over it... Not my cup of tea. Just as I don't like my movies to be cut through with ads. JJ (8/10)

- Thank you, Massen. Er, I have never planned for an additional chapter, this looked like a nicely rounded whole to me...

One of the best nc stories I have read. Am surprised not more people have read/reviewed it. The flirtation at the beginning (foreplay for us readers), the 'philosophical' narrator commentary, and the mental humiliation the rapists used, were what made this so much more exquisite than a tale on the physical part of rape. High on realism without compromising eroticism. (9/10)

- Thanks again. And again as I said, this is more like pulp fiction or comicbook realism than 'real' realism... I am currently finishing another nc story (hmm, perhaps it sounds more cerebral when you put it that way than to say 'rape tale') that is kinda leaning that way even more...

Unbelievable. I am so glad I finally read it. Those two young men will roam around in my head forever. I don't believe I have to tell you what you did for me, do I? (10/10)

- Umm.. No, of course not but it WOULD be nice... Glad you liked it, though. Hopefully more to come in future, if only it wasn't for the bloody WORK.

Was probably the most realistic rape i've read and certainly more than i've experienced. Phewww! Think i'll stay very content with my Hubby. lol. xxx Thankyou Mr.Driscoll (10/10)

- Thank YOU millie. Glad you liked the story. I think it's realistic in that 'plausible fantasy' way rather than in the 'real reality' way. But I guess that's what I was looking for any way... As I said, making a 'really' realistic story would probably make for a less enjoyable read... Thanks again. Loved your profile, by the way...

couldn't stop reading it. would have loved it if she came in spite of the humiliation. i think i might have. a rape like that is very different than the wham bam rapes in real life. In a crazy way, they gave her a lot of attention and they enjoyed her body . . .hard not enjoy that even with a load of guilt on you. loved the story, thanks for writing it. (9/10)

- Thank you, lilj999, glad you liked it. Yes, I did try to make it different than what the rape would look like in real life. Because I don't think it would have made for a very interesting story if it was too realistic... This way, as you say, the rapists give the victim a lot of attention etc. which I guess makes for a nice enough fantasy. On the other hand, no, I don't think I am skilled enough (with my writing, not with my rape technique)to make the victim enjoy the rape and not make the story cheesy beyond belief (it's already cheesy enough, no?). I am not saying it can't be done, just that I am probably not the writer to make it. You say you might enjoy it etc. in a similar situation and I respect that, but then again, you are (as your profile says) 'obsessed with BDSM' whereas Susan is supposed to be a regular, run-of-the-mill vanilla person. I don't think I know enough about the lifestyle or scene or even mindset of 'proper' BDSM people to write stories about them so I try to steer clear of it... By the way, rereading the story I noticed an embarassing continuity mistake that no one seems to have spotted yet. Must edit the story once down the line...

Another eight, here. I really enjoyed this story, especially its refreshing style and "tongue in cheek" segments, which the author managed to employ without detracting from the serious nature of the piece. A very entertaining story. (8/10)

- Thank you, EG. Yes, I was going for the ironic (bordering on absurdist) feel to try and outbalance the by-numbers nature of the plot. Glad you liked it in the way it was intended.

- Thank you, ramses. Well... uh... yes. 'Preachiness' was supposed to be somewhat... tongue in cheek... To add some spice, not to really criticise or preach... But not much use explaining it afterwards, is there...

An excellent job handling a pretty standard premise. A little philisophical bent towards the end was a bit of a surprise. So was the use of the word "oedipal". It gave me a bit of a chuckle, actually. It is likely that the quality of writing deserves better than an 8. However, the tale is not particularly original even if the handling of it was. Good stuff. (8/10)

- Thank you Dean. Yeah, the story is anything BUT original, I'm afraid. Then again, I did try to make up for it through adding the, uh, philosophical edge... What is strange about the use of the word 'oedipal' in the given context? I mean, I am asking, I am not protesting, I'd really like to know since I am trying to improve my English.

- Regarding "Oedipal": Nothing wrong with it. However, one does not expect, in the midst of a rape, for the rapist to use terms generally reserved for well educated or well read individuals. Hell, I know quite a few well read individuals who would need the term explained to them. Consequently, a rapist, in this genre of tale, utilizing such a word struck me as ironic and humorous - it actually made the read more enjoyable.
