I always love the sense of the ease of slipping from reality to fantasy especially in the BDSM field and the use of dreams is great. The aspect of the painting is a wonderful idea, with rich description which adds to the quality of the story. The growing recognition by Heather of her submissiveness is really addictive to read. I would love to see a follow-up. I am less concerned about what happens to Robert, what about the next owner of the painting? An excellent story, I dream of more to follow. (10/10)

Wow! This story is so hot, it triggered the oxygen eating fire suppression system... No, that's not true, but this is one hot, hot story. (10/10)

The idea of a novel that intervening reality, dream, and fantasy is very creative, rarely seen in BDSM stories, very attentive to detail, very well written story. (10/10)

I gave this story a '10' during the contest and after reading it again have no second thoughts. Imaginative, beautifully written, with any number of colorful touches (art, cuisine, wine etc.) A pleasure to read even though it didn't really push my personal 'hot' buttons. Highly recommended. (10/10)

A picture can say a thousand words, and not knowing nor caring about the word count of "T.S.D.", this story vidly crosses the thin line separating the art world and writing. It's rich depiction is well worth the attention of many a patron. (8/10)

The obvious winner of the contest-- clever, intelligent, realistic fantasy about a woman slowly drifting into her fantasy life, inspired by a beautiful depiction of a slavegirl prostrate before her master. Let's hope Dana is a prolific writer, and inspired by more suggestions! Bravo. (10/10)
