very enjoyable story, and one that held my imagination...i particularly would like to hear more about ritual's early experiences! (9/10)

This one has its moments, especially in chapter 6. I have a feeling that this is an early work of the author, and I hope with more writing, the style will improve. The same can be said for the proofing, this can be a terrible distraction if there are too many mistakes in spelling and the like. Those curt, jumpy sentences in the beginning were a bit difficult to get used to, but that seemed to smooth out as the author went along. I'm not at all convinced about Magick's intentions or his transformation from bored bedmate to masterful sadist, especially when he seems to be able to tolerate long periods of abstinence from his favorite sport. All that being said, I would be interested in reading more if the knife work/mutilation aspect of things doesn't dominate the fun and games. (6/10)
