Wonderfully written story. I was really drawn into the story. The depth of detail was amazing. (10/10)

I adore this story, and the descriptions in it make all seem so 'real'. Joanna you write with a flair and what seems to be a passion for historical pieces. But taking that extra step beyond the normal bounds. Truly Excellent! (10/10)

I have held back until Chapter 5 before reviewing "Elena" because I feared that the story would degenerate into another "organ grinder" epic and I would have to retact my review and rating. Also there is not a key word available to us to designate "Horror Story Classic". But this is it and after six episodes "Joanna O'Dwyer" has shown no indication of blowing it. This superbly written story has the power to hold the reader's attention like few other "longer" stories on this site. Vampirism is one of the oldest BDSM genres dating back to Bram Stoker. "Elena" shows that it can compete with the classics. (10/10)

I like the ethnic spin on this tale. I think I'm in lust with the title "Doamna." It's simply delicious. This story seems promising. More! Please? UPDATE: I just read chapter three and am even more impressed. As such, I'm changing my rating for this story from seven to nine. Well done! More please! (9/10)

Dear Joanna, I adored the first three chapters of your story and yearn for the upcoming chapters hopefully to follow soon! As Elena is to become a total slave to the undead Mistress, I am praying that this Mistress will delight in keeping her slave Elena in a constantly fevered pitch of sexual torment without allowing her her much needed climax! your avid fan, neenee (JaneenMarie O'Brien) ms2bused@excite.com (10/10)

its very good :), i've always been a fan of Vampirism and there isnt enough of these stories, but I must admit the story is somewhat slow, but not overly slow, I love the fact that your being so descriptive, your an amazing writer and have the potential to make amazing tales. Finish this story, but dont keep your readers in suspense this whole time, we wish to see this "Mistress". (8/10)

Has great potential. It could become a finely crafted tale. One criticism: For something that has the makings of a long story I would have liked a bigger chunk for the first posting. (7/10)

Almost trying too hard. Too much description, too many adjectives and similies - "A heavy still silence, like molasses" is not a sentence. THe story is too slow. So why go on if I critising? Because there is a promise - a love of languge. Keep going - speed the narrative. (6/10)
