2020: Slavery Conscription, young men serving two years as work slaves, has been operating successfuly in Great Britain since 1997. It's made that country an economic superpower, but at what price? In 21st Century Britain, we hear the story from both sides: the slaves and the women exempted from this horrific experience yet affected all the same. |

Intriguing and unique in my bdsm reading exprience. Stories set in a system, modern life as we know it except for the institution of slavery in one form or another are a real turn on for me. The slave is helpless before the power of the system. That said, I'd like a more coherent plot. The sadistic oppression of Mark comes a bit out of nowhere. It would be good to have more character devlopment and the hellish deception of toying with the poor fat boy worked out more fully. But still very good and well worth the 9 I'm giving it. Factory Boy has talent and I look forward to his next. (9/10)

I’m still trying to recover my senses from all that intoxicating clinking of chains. Hehe. Cruel and nasty. Slaves in hopeless ‘resistance is futile’ situations. Thank you, Factory boy. Very nice indeed. This reads like an unrelated sequence of dream episodes; not really a story but rather a collection of interesting vignettes. Maybe, whenever you feel like starting something new, do some planning ahead and construct a plot? (8/10)

- Agreed, and as said below, a story with plot starts soon.
Meanwhile, Ranai, thanks for the review. Stories need reviews, good and bad.

- Wow! Thanks, runny. A big concern of mine has always been that 2020 isn't a story; it's more a docu-soap. However, do not despair. As I speak I am revamping Part 7 and putting it in as Chapter 1 in a chilling sequel where the worm, slowly but surely, starts to turn. Could this spell the beginning of the end for slavery?

Although I rated this an 8, I didn't get half way through it before it became redundant for me. I suppose my disklike for unrealistic fiction (oxymoron?) got me tired of reading it. Still, the skills of the author are noticable and it's well written. Just not my cup of tea. (8/10)
