He woke up at 8:30 to a shower and went downstairs for breakfast. There was a
sandwich and some juice on the table along with a note. "Penalty 3." Great, his
day was off to a great start! He ate the sandwich and slugged down the juice.
Then he went to the den and watched TV for a while, he made it to lunch on time.
And even made it to the study session.
When he got there a librarianish woman probably about 30 was there to give him

better, but he was getting by. He slouched in front of the TV again, when he
thought to look the clock read 8:57 PM. He hustled over to the library and made
it with seconds to spare!
Kathlyn greeted him quietly. She announced that he had failed to clear his
plate of food at dinner, that constituted rude behavior for another 2 penalty.
"I was going to give you points off for your room if you had cleaned it after
the penalty, but instead you did nothing. Your total for the day is 15. It
makes me too tired to give you that many swats, so we will subsitute. You will
receive 5 bare swats, and be grounded for this weekend. Please pull down your

David was really pissed now, he had been planning some fun and getting away time

Kathlyn informed him that he would be assisting in the garage today from 10 AM

"What about lunch?" He inquired.
"I will bring lunch out for you about noon. Your room will be inspected in the
afternoon."
David headed up to his room immediately after breakfast, he had to clean up his
